Hirosan - I don't know about what is happening at the court, but with today's price move direction and the volume,I can tell you that someone KNOWS that E/A is huge (as I have been saying for a long time ....like I asked when they first named the location for Ant 7 .....why in the heck would they put it that far to the west ? ) We may still yet make a couple of bucks on this whole darn mess .....not what mh makes , but ......

Oh.  Never mind.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying the temporary ~$1.00 share bump in PPS.

For people that voted yes, or no, how does the price bump help? if you sell you forego the CRP, if you buy each share costs more, at conversion you still only get $45 of XOM shares.

It seems that a price bump prior after the vote but prior to the completion may only help the ones that voted no & dissent.

Am I missing something?

For my part, that's why said *temporary* bump, since it makes no difference in the end other than as an indication the market might be valuing the potential payoff of the CRPs a bit higher.

Also, I suppose if the price skyrocketed before closing, we could sell and be done with it.

I'm not sure but I wonder if the closing price plays into the repricing of any options outstanding.  I believe since the CRP won't be part of the adjusted option contract, the new option might be 45 dollars of exxon stock plus cash.  I'm hoping that's the case as I have a few Jan. 50's.

If I can exercise the option in January and get cash plus Exxon stock which has appreciated I'll be pleasantely surprised.  I guess I'll find out shortly when the new adjusted options are created.
