The article mentions the former CEO David Heydon who is now trying to get something called DeepGreen Resources going. David Heydon, Deputy Chairman, was previously founder and until 2008 CEO of Nautilus Minerals Inc., where he attracted the backing of leading mining companies such as Placer Dome (now Barrick Gold), Teck Resources, Anglo American and Russia’s Metalloinvest.
Does anyone know what happened to the backers mentioned? Only Metalloinvest seems to still be officially onboard.
