Notice about 5 million shares were put into dissent the 10 percent reference above . About 3.5 million were PM or only 1.5 million other than PM dissented . I find that surprising , and helps dissenters get a higher payment because of the small number of dissenting shares .
Notice also the Exxon lawyers at the appeal and imagine their fees . Think Exxon will want a protracted time period as they pay all the expenses of the net asset value appraisal. Or we expect resolution of the dissent very soon ?????

Hopefully, there will be just enough delay to get the XOM 10-day average price back down to the current levels followed by some brief turn up in the price!

I emailed Investor relations asked when close would be and what about ant 7 replied the following.

Appeal held yesterday, judges decided to reserve judgement till later. No close till get verdict which will hopefully be soon (IR words)

Huh?  This appeal would be heard by a panel or all the supreme court judges, would it not?  If that's that quality of the RJ analyst, I'd ignore him.
