Dissenters unite!
#1

I would like to connect to any who currently are dissenters.  So far, one fine person has reached out and we exchanged info.  If you are a dissenter and are interested, please send me a private message.  While XOM is figuring out the first offer, we can at least get semi connected.

Received a letter today from Exxon's lawyer that our withdrawal of our dissent did not make it in time. So we are dissenters. They will make an offer to us in 4 weeks or so. We plan on rejecting their offer and using the Yukon courts to determine NAV. Based on the Appealate Court statement that the deal substantially under values the deal we hope to have a decent payday. Because we have never accepted an Exxon offer we also will be eligible for any law suit winnings if there are any. One law firm is planning on asking for $3 Billion in damages. We shall see. The former IOC execs have a major problem it appears..

Our group determined Dissent was the best option and intends to pursue all options. We will post all relevant communication and contacts, as necessary.

"We pulled because our lawyer advised us that the dissent action took away our legal rights as shareholders . Or we could not participate in any law suits with the dissent."

Let's see, attorney says pull dissent because dissenting causes loss of shareholder rights including right to sue. But now that you are stuck in dissent camp attorney says it's good because by dissenting and not accepting an offer you can sue. Maybe some 'splaning would help.
