Shell execs asked for the Q in their CC. Got the Q and answered the Q. Phil was quoted the day before as acknowledging they were in talks with Shell. It is the first Q anyone should have asked, why wasn't it?

"because IOC should not answer the question? What is your point? [/quote] Puts, IOC get's Qs every CC they respond to with 'can't answer that due to CA's'. Shell Q should have been asked with that CA answer expected. You must think they should not have been asked about Shell talks, you know, the folks behind Project Zebra, Duma's prime choice and validated by Phil as in talks with them? The Q was not asked as it was not wanted as aked is the only answer.

The bottom line is that the InterOil executives didn't want ANY questions about the partnering at this very sensitive point. In fact, I'm surprised they didn't run out the clock with their presentation and take NO questions. They appeared to want to say what the script called for and nothing more at this point. ....and a Shell question? They want to say NOTHING on that subject. Too dangerous at this stage. They'll have plenty of time to answer questions AFTER all this SD, SM, PNG, DPE, Duma/O'Neill stuff is behind them. VS

Or maybe the question is better asked of WA this afternoon when he speaks at Enercom. Believe jft stated Wayne is on the docket for 4 PM today. Correct jft?

WA speaking after market closes today after O'Neill meetings today. He could be freed up to give a little update. |
