Press Release
#1

It looks like the approval is beginning to hit the wires. This appears to be an official press release from IOC & if it is IOC doesn't seem at all surprised or concerned about the 50/50 split and is sticking by the "In-Kind" Statement and on commercial terms to be negotiated with the state. It appears we will have to wait for more details

Great stuff...Excellent milestone. Again-IOC is delivering on promises. Key point is IOC is being treated fairly by the state.

Agree Petro; and PNG is not dumb enough to try and screw a developer when the country is in such sorry shape. They are looking for partners and they see one in IOC.

Thx PM,

Why should IOC be surprised or concerned?  Only those that  prefer being wrong, make the assumption that IOC is being strong-armed by PNG, IOC should be surprised by a Gov't PR they helped write or the best, management tried hiding facts of their PA just hours prior to when they knew  the PR was released.
