Understanding the potential for hydrocarbon development in PNG is paramount. In the past six months, we have shot 260 kilometres of seismic. In June, Talisman began a much larger seismic project, employing hundreds of local people and covering more than 1,100 kilometres. To put that into perspective, only 8,000 kilometres of seismic has been acquired throughout PNG in the past 50 years.
