good read here...they are looking for the best project around the world...and they have a lot of cash..

"Governments everywhere find high energy prices much scarier than the threat of global warming"...

"To meet that demand, Chevron is in the midst of an enormous cycle of investment aimed at extracting oil and gas from wherever it hides in the earth’s crust."
Freddie, I also like this quote from the article. Even if bashers could claim "stranded gas" looks like Chevron is willing and qualified to do " extracting oil and gas from wherever it hides in the earth’s crust."!!!!! Time will tell....

Eb- Good morning! Thanks for your post. I was just wondering....if someone would ask John Watson (Chevron) ,why would you spend 3x or 4x the money for gas in Australia than you could spend in PNG (onshore) for a better resource, I wonder what his answer would be ?? It does boggle the mind, doesn't  it ?  Sage (ha,ha)..

well , they might be in the mix...not?...if we have several bidders, knowing they returned to the Island and with the cash-pile they got, they will be one of them...
