INDUSTRIAL training is a vital part of university students’ learning.
InterOil has taken on board three final year students from the Lae University of Technology from the Department of Communication and Development Studies.
The students Wasita Kavanamur, Levin Mattes and Benny Mitio will work with InterOil on rotation within the company’s Community Affairs section.
The training will take them to InterOil’s sites at Napanapa (Port Moresby), Kerema and Herd Base (along Purari River) over a period of four to five months.
The students are eager to start industrial training with the company.
