Pretty lame effort IMO. Rehashed Minkow type "blog". No factual info. A Gefvert no less.He has no credibility. He is all in with a pair of 2's. Wont have much if any effect on the PPS. Nice to see this is all the shorts can muster on OE week,,,good sign IMO.

The problem is AG has written such shoddy articles in the past (remember the famous "dryhole blowback" term; he admitted he didn't even know what it meant). In this one he compares IOC to Bre-X and says that just because IOC has done certain things that Bre-X did, that it must be a scam. He says, for instance, that Shell etc have not inspected the wells so the resources are very suspect. So he totally discounts on-site testing and verification by Weatherford and Schlumberger? Oooops. He also assumes that Mitsui, and all bidders are idiots after looking at all of the data and the work by GLJ, GK and KR. And the government of PNG must also be in on the scam. And of course OSH, XOM, Total, Talisman.

Another classic is his statement that IOC had no reason to make its end of January announcement that final bids are due by Feb 28th. That's good. So once teh final questions as to the Ant structure have been answered and the government is pushing for this process to come to a conclusion, there is no reason to publicly announce the closing of the bidding process?

This guy is counter productive. If he would just STFU and let IOC's management buffoons sell their shares in these last 2 weeks to those suckers at WF/Cap Re/Fido/RC etc...the pps will tank on it's own. Now with this grand expose, management will just sit on their shares rather than sell into a tumbling pps.

Yes, I fully agree with that, it's pathetic. I've made a complaint to SA, not because I'm worried about any impact of this article, but because bad faith articles destroy the commons of Seeking Alpha itself.

This article is of course the only fraud here. Bre-X was a Company that got caught salting core samples from a gold prospect with gold to fool the third party assayers. I think someone (Tree/Palm) with a link to the video of the 705 MMCFD test at Antelope-2 should post it in the comments section of this SA article with the question: How do you salt a gas reservoir with enough gas to allow it to produce at a rate of 705 MMCFD and make a roar like this? Turn on your speakers and watch this!
