Debate A Fool Day! Go to SA
#1

And today we have another 'educated' biased fool bloviating non-sense on SA regarding ennerOle.  The SD/partnerhip transaction is just around the corner and it will not disappoint management.   Any fool on SA that ignores a  simple formula for pps accretion isn't worth a response.

FOB LNG Sales $/Mcf - Taxes - OPEX  - debt - Gas Cost/Mcf  = $Profit/Mcf

In round #s IOC is trading at about $.70/Mcf.

IOC's Gas Cost is NEGATIVE/Mcf @ ~ ($.70/Mcf).

Liquefaction costs of ~$3/Mcf.

LNG FOB Sales of $14.385/Mcf.

Net profit of several dollars/Mcf.

I will gladly receive that accretion in Quarterly divis which are multiples of pps OR market accretion of my shares by multiples.

I found it ironic that this LA based hedgie titled his SA article "comparative analysis of Interoil"  and not "comparative analysis of Austex".   After all he states he is long Austex and one could deduce that he has a firm grasp of the Austex situation.  My guess is that he had never heard of interoil or GLJ and would probably struggle with pointing to Port Moresby on a map let alone the entire country of PNG.  I wonder how many SA authors have to be contacted before one agrees to write an article with an agenda for a fee???  I hope he buys into his employers hype and gets burned with the rest of them.  Sellout.

Well, they could at least hire someone with a minimum of understanding of the topic..
This is just laughable stuff not really worth discussing.

Hey, it seems that these stupid short articles seem to help the pps. Any one with any intelligence and knowledge will read the article and see that it is total nonsense. In fact, it shows people how great a value IOC is.

This will help our pps this week. Last article sure did. Glad to see shorts are feeling the pinch.

Agreed

My incredibly biased, non-objective, impatient timeline is as follows:

I think we will see significant leaks from third parties and journalists over the next 30 days as we try to finish up legal docs with JKM/XOM. PPS slides into the mid 80s. And while most shareholders see much more share value by not selling the whole enchilada, I do see an initially unacceptable hostile bid being submitted at the 11th hour. I see our BOD using this bid for a slight sweetening from JKM but rejecting the takeover attempt. will this hostile bid put us in play?? A Cove scenario would end this story. I see a very happy ending either way.
As Orlando says, "what would we do with our time?" Smile

Bobby, I agree however I see a takeover bid having a chance with modifications. Since the prospects have no real assigned value at this point I see IOC selling major interest in Triceratops and E/A to a takeover to whomever it is that is bidding. Then, IOC will retain prospects and develop in some way. With proper and aggressive negotiating all things are in play. IOC, with PNG, is in the driver set. Time will tell....
