I seem to recall one of the analysts stating that majors would want a deal closed by end of the year so assets can go on the books.

Does anyone remember the analyst or did I dream this?

Chatter on yahoo saying majors don't care about this. I disagree, but lack the proof.

I always though that , that did not make sense, I think it all up to SM willing to dismiss the turmoil in PNG as well as their financiers , SO trust
