The Pre Market Tape

Very unusual to see such large trades so early.  It will be a good day.  This was the picture at 8:15am EST.

Gentleman this is only the beginning. If we move 15% on the announcement of a pending announcement just wait until we get the final announcement and FID. I suspect we will be seeing $150 very soon. There are a lot of shorts that will begin to cover today

The devil is in the details. We were not provided any details. Nobody was surprised that Exxon is going to buy gas to feed an additional train. We still wait to get an understanding how the industry values E/A.

I don't know about next week (whether details will be coming), but I remind people of that excellent Westlake report:

o InterOil would not announce that it is in exclusive negotiations with a particular company unless it felt like it was very close to completing a deal.
o Exxon does not let its name get thrown around in press releases without some degree of approval.

But of course, do your own DD, or connect your own dots, whatever. Maybe even put something on ice.. Smile

Someone explain to me why the press release was needed?  Policy was no comments until we have a deal and details, right.  O"Neil says something, big deal, no comment at this time.  What was so pressing and urgent. Once again a Mickey Mouse press release that evokes a discussion of whether this is the deal or not the deal or part of the deal.Clear as mud.
