Why investing in Desteny Media is a good idea

• It has a market cap below $60M (59.15M shares outstanding)
• It has no debt
• It is profitable and cash flow positive
• Most investments in Play MPE and Clipstream G2 have been completed
• Play MPE is ready to expand geographically and to new user categories
• Clipstream G2 is now ready to be commercialized
• Play MPE is a near monopoly and Clipstream G2 is protected by 7 patents
• There are other interesting products waiting in the wings

The risks:

• Clipstream G2 will not attract commercial traction
• Clipstream G2 will be superseded by better technology

Thes risks seems small to us, there is no unifying media format that ends all transcoding needs and can be played in all browsers on all devices. Also, you can wait for the first sale to happen to minimize the risk of Clipstream not being commercialized, but they're in talks with parties and have one ongoing commercial trial already.

The only thing I have to quibble with here Admin is your statement above that the market cap is less than $60M. My info has it at $130M. What gives?

Seriously, I'd love to hear an announcement from the company as to why the sudden stock price rise. Did Clipstream get a foothold somewhere that somebody noticed? I just can't imagine the market for software allowing a company to readily host their own media across virtually all of the viewing platforms currently accessing the web. If the patents hold I suspect this company will soon be a goner.

It's thinly traded, I think there are lots of people realizing the potential, although it could also very well be a take-over target
