Let's kick off the search for a new growth stock here. Our choice can hardly be a surprise, it's Destiny Media, and we already house a Destiny Media forum where you can find a host of information. Here just a quick rationale to get the ball rolling;  why investing in Desteny Media is a good idea

  • It has a market cap below $70M(59.15M shares outstanding)
  • It has no debt
  • It is profitable and cash flow positive
  • Most investments in Play MPE and Clipstream G2 have been completed
  • Play MPE is ready to expand geographically and to new user categories
  • Clipstream G2 is now ready to be commercialized
  • Play MPE is a near monopoly and Clipstream G2 is protected by 7 patents
  • There are other interesting products waiting in the wings

The risks:

  • Clipstream G2 will not attract commercial traction
  • Clipstream G2 will be superseded by better technology

Thes risks seems relatively manageable to us, there is no unifying media format that ends all transcoding needs and can be played in all browsers on all devices. Also, you can wait for the first sale to happen to minimize the risk of Clipstream not being commercialized, but they're in talks with parties and have one ongoing commercial trial already.

We were lucky to attent you on Thursday morning just before the last run-up started (see attachment below), it ran up from 95cents to $1.14 on very high volume, which makes us more comfortable.

Well, it was 82 cents when we first advised a buy
http://shareholdersunite.com/mybb/showthread.php?tid=3921&pid=24345#pid24345

$1.14 when we entered this competition five weeks ago,

At the moment there is a 12K bid at $1.63...

There seems to be a bit of panic buying after a terrific CC..

Closed the week at $1.73. The panic buying continues. Not surprisingly as DSNY is so undervalued in relation to its prospects that only delayed Clipstream G2 introduction and new short interests will slow it down and likely only for short (no pun) periods.

May prove to be a godsend to discover this very disruptive technology at such an early stage. Similar to finding IOC at $2 (with far less drama).

And for you Canadians and international rinkrats revenues expected to show a "hockeystick" pattern per the CEO. That is confidence.

Well, it's the time of the year when many Seeking Alpha contributors are putting out their best stock ideas for the coming year, so we're joining in here, because we think we not only have a great stock, but the timing is also likely to be quite favorable. So here it is, our double for 2014: Destiny Media.

One question theyve posted is, for a commercial customer, what kind of cost savings is gained compared to the complex transcoding process that it intends to replace? Logic dictates a substantial cost savings due to reduced steps and partnerships required, but putting a number on it would be better. It may require investors to contact those transcoding companies and see how it compares...or we could just ask Steve as he's probably got a good handle on that already. Considering the low end margin product was supposed to be around 60% i think no matter what they produce will have lots of flexibility if things were actually competitive.

Well, you big users wouldn't need:
- Streaming servers (probably in two, perhaps even three different formats)
- Distribution content networks (the Akamai's of this world) since Clipstream files are treated as normal web content and hence cashed at ISP's where they are re-used locally.

I don't have a number, but these costs seem fairly substantial to me. Substantial enough to provoke serious interest from video users.
