Short Sale restricted

IOC is short sale restricted at Interactive. I don't recall seeing that before. Meaning it's fully shorted. Would be nice if they ink the deal before the end of the month. The bigs are supposed to call back their short shares on news. Could get interesting.

That could be monstrous for the upside.  How reliable is your source for this?

Its been discussed movie guy. Remember there are 3 IBers who advise IOC . Will they do it and when if they do?.?

Short sale rule 201 goes into effect when a stock drops more than 10% in a day. The rule is in place for that day and the next. Since IOC dropped more than 10% Tuesday, the rule was in place for Tuesday and Wednesday. Short sale rule 201 is not in effect for today. The rule still allows short selling, but it must be done on an uptick.

Short sale rule 201 was placed on IOC stock at 9:32 this AM. The reg will be in place for all of today and Monday.
