CCTV retraction evidence
#1

this is from user  LJ2013's comment on SA:

Here's an evidence I found regarding CCTV issue:
CCTV allegations were aired on 3/15/2011.
After that, another CCTV video aired on 4/18/2011 which was also about NQ. It praised NQ for its achievements, mentioned NQ's users exist over 100 countries, etc. The title was called 'China's World leading mobile security technology'. CCTV would not have done that if they still considered NQ as a fraud.

Dear admin maybe you want to put this information in the repository, as another issue solved by our longs' DD effort?

Yes, we addressed the issue again and got the same response.

By the way, where in the prospectus are you referring to specifically? We looked ourselves but did not find mention of the word "retraction", but probably overlooked it (long doc). Can you point us to it?

The company stated that they contacted CCTV, who proceeded to pull the program from air immediately (after day 1.5 or maybe 2 of a typically week to 10-day long airing). Then, as you know they reran the expose praising NQ a month later. They more recently covered NQ again last week in another positive piece.

As far as we know, the company did not receive a written statement from CCTV, which is not something CCTV ever does.
