West China Hospital
#1

If you do a search on West China Hospital I can see why mgt is excited about NationSky having won the business.  Not only is the potential there for ramping up their relationship with WCH, but the high profile nature of the win/business paves the way for more deals going forward in the healthcare space along with other verticals.

NationSky appears to be quickly building a name for itself in the high growth nascent mdm sector and should start getting recognized over time by investors as major value creator for the company.

I think the healthcare angle is missed by a lot of people. In the US for example, theres a big push for telemedicine and remote access to patient records and information. Hospitals, home health providers, skilled nursing facilities, etc etc need access to patient records and have started the migration over to hand held devices.  Historically, the nurse will visit the patient and take vitals and log them in once they get back to their home office. If they need ready access to patient medications or historical vitals, its not always on hand. So over the last few years, theres been a migration onto PDA and now iphones and android devies to bring patient data to the point of service. The problem with hand held devices that are off the shelf is they are not secure enough given HIPPA compliance laws and the resulting penalties if patient records are leaked. So in the home health arena for example, because its such a highly decentralized industry. (the largest competitors might have 5-10% of the total market) most companies are forced to look off the shelf for technology solutions. Theres insufficient scale for the competitors to develope home grown technology that not only integrates their patient records on hand, but also provide a secure forum to access patient information. The largest competitors in home health for example were literally spending tens of millions of dollars on development work on PDA devices that are now completely obsolete given their R&D dollars are no match for the iphones and samsungs of the world.  NQ moving into this space is a huge opportunity given how fragmented the market is. Theres few HCIT companies in the space that specifically focus on mobile technologies and security.

I'm not sure about the chinese market, but my guess is they face similar issues.
