Kaliboo, I was not questioning anything Pet said, or whether they might someday drill a sidetrack, although I doubt it, as Pet said. I was questioning your comments about when and how they might communicate results, and the comment about "flaring oil". You clarified nothing on any of that.

i couldn't understand your original "ludicrous" comment.  But yes oil can be flared.  Well test operations have flare booms for oil and gas for exploration wells.  If practical and profitable testers will separate and store the liquid HCs to sell.  If there's no PL, roads or navigable river close by, then you have to flare it or reinject  it.

On sidetracking it depends on the laws in PNG in part. .  It seems like they would

announce as soon as they have a discovery .
