SIGH.....Not as much fun
#1

It's just not as much fun anymore.

Gone are Phil, Christian, Collin, Wayne, Aldorf and Civelli.

Almost gone are Byker and BOD.

All those good contacts with great information which was never accurate- gone.

Bonk and Eric are trying to leave.

Sal and Binck have passed, Soros sold.   Here we remain.

Stuck with Chandler.

Holding the  IOC bag.

Saddled with JV partners TOT and OSH.

Burdened with likelihood of another Billion + cash headed our way next year.

Charged with delivering a minimum 2 Mtpa LNG project which we will own ~30%.

Managing high risk/higher reward exploration campaign.

The bad news is this.  If we find no more gas we are equivalent to OSH, and they are $10 B.

The next 3-5 yrs. will just be boring.

Current boredom as spawned idiotic, nonsensical and valueless threads in recent days.

To nip this phenom in the 'bud' we need to add 1 more rule to the board rules.

Rule # 7:  "Legalized dope smoking in your State does NOT mean you are entitled to post on SHU after partaking"

TIA and let's all enjoy the next 5 yrs. as we have reached altitude and are now safely on auto pilot.

Yes, thanks for that, this is indeed a good rendition of the bigger picture. From day to day, week to week, there is still quite some drama and/or entertainment left though (the occasional air pocket, so to speak), whether accurately, or even sensibly portrayed here or not.

If the whole world smoked a joint at the same time, There would be world peace for at least two hours.
Followed by a global food shortage.

Q: What do you call a person who remembers what they did at woodstock ?
A: A Liar.

"In November, Colorado voted to legalize the recreational use of marijuana. Currently, only Colorado residents can purchase marijuana in the state. But they may open it up to nonresidents too. The new state slogan is 'Come for the legal marijuana, stay because you forgot to leave.'" –Jimmy Kimmel

So to recap:

*we are worth at least 10 billion even if we find no more gas?
*I should cancel my trip to Colorado as I am not a legal resident of the state?
*You guys are old enough to remember Woodstock and still coherent enough to remember that you can't remember anything when you were there?
*Phil, Christian, Collin, Wayne, Aldorf and Civelli are gone? (Whoops, I forgot to adhere to rule #7, I remember now. That is so 2013.)

Good luck longs

Safely on auto pilot? 99 problems could abort takeoff between now and FID in 2 years. Auto pilot may never arrive.

Or 100 things could go right between now and then. Since your glass is only 25% full Mike, why do you even hold any shares?

Mike reminds me of that character in Dick Tracy that always had a black cloud hanging over his head and a frown on his face.

If I felt that way, I would move my investments elsewhere, simple.
