Anyone know about the Refinery Sale?

Just wondering with all the people on this board claiming to have "connections" (what i hear... per JFT for example),..how a deal this large was kept sooo quiet?  Perhaps most of "what we hear" is speculation and flat out guessing.  Same with the Pre deal...no pre knowledge of that deal was shared either.  Lessons learned.

Tid-bits that refinery was for sale have been circulating since last fall.  MS mentioned the refinery may be capitalized in 5/19 research note.  It has been mentioned on SHU at that time and a few times since.    The hard part is determining credibiity in live time.  What's next?  Merger or strategic partner.  Just maybe, those are possibilities.
