Very true. I just mentioned that on another thread Lib. What moves the needle?

I think it's been primarily the delays, problems, and uncertainties from the high-expectation exploration program, and the resulting short manipulation, complaining/negative sentiment, and other related selling, along with the delays and uncertainties of the closing and related on-going dispute. That has also coincided in recent weeks with some correction in many smaller energy stocks, and the broader small-cap market in general. A lot of it I think has been unjustified, but that's the nature of this stock to some extent still and the market. The buyback just began yesterday and so far certainly appears to be having a positive effect. I think it has bottomed and the trend changed to up, with near-term catalysts being exploration news, either positive or negative, and any significant correction/run in the market.

Wayne Andrews talked to dozens of brokers and individual holders daily. The new IR is located in Singapore. Draw your own conclusions but I believe it was a contributing factor. Seems like that has drawn to a close but we've yet to get definitive news that will entice the big money investors. It will come but just not as of now..

I'm telling you guys. There is no mystery in the current stock price. 62 bucks is the current value based on FCF in 2020.

That would depend on your discount rate.
Also depends on size of plant and when Others do the NAV work differently . Read the Macquarie report , see their work . They know more , 14 page report. They say Interoil is trading at a 65 percent discount in their work. Hard to understand why posters fail to pull up this report and print the results.

THe company is fine now. New Mngt. New money. New drilling program etc.... but the stock is broken. Too many disappointments. This will take time. |
