Hello,
We announced today that China Unicom has chosen to integrate and license our Music Radar technology into their native music client. We are very excited about our expanding relationship with China Unicom, which is the second largest telecommunications company in China with more than 280 million subscribers.

NQ Mobile’s Music Radar is one of the important emerging products within our various businesses. Officially launched in October of 2013, Music Radar currently services almost 8 million daily unique search queries. With advanced audio recognition, including the ability to discover matching audio files from input that is sung or hummed, Music Radar has gained organic user acquisition while attracting high-profile partners who are licensing the technology.

Today’s announcement follows previous Music Radar alliances with other Chinese partners including with China Mobile to provide the search engine for its Migu Mobile Music Service, Huawei’s incorporation of it for its Ring Back Tone services and apps, and licensing deals with other popular music players like Ttpod and Kugou. Outside of China, with the recent launch of the HTC One M8 Harmon Kardon edition, Sprint announced that it extended its strategic collaboration with NQ Mobile and selected Music Radar as the audio search, discovery and recognition technology for that particular device as well as for future Android devices as they continue to roll out their Music Live services. In addition, Music Radar has been available in the Samsung Galaxy Gear store as part of Samsung’s original smartwatch and recently extended availability to include the latest in Samsung’s smartwatch line to include the Gear 2, the Gear 2 Neo, and the Gear Fit.
Since our last specific update on Music Radar during our Q4 and year end results in early April, our unique daily search queries have grown from more than 6 million to almost 8 million at the same time our total downloads have now reached more than 25 million.
Music Radar is available for Android iOS, and Samsung’s new Tizen operating systems and can be found at Google Play or in iTunes app store under the name Doreso.

Regards,
