Gut Feeling
#1

Get this gut feeling that we are about to receive a two for one offer from Exxon or three for one from Total.  That would be pretty sweet, no tax implications and a steady stream of dividends.  I'd take it, how about you?

Probably the Grande burrito you had at midnight last night. That'll mess with your guts some.

Hi,Art - I sure like your thinking. Foresight won't tell us today what the true value of Wahoo is ( let alone the true value of all of ppl 474) , but hindsight certainly will ! Imho,it will be a "barn-burner" . Your idea would probably take their PNG/LNG plant from a 20-25 year plant to a 30-35 year plant.....which would produce a big smile on XOM's face . Hasta la vista, compadre.

My two cents......what's going on, if anything now.    Gulf LNG morphing into a new entity owned by ioc, tot, osh and another sm(s).  This would accomplish the following:

- Be a separate company from PNG LNG and make two independent entities forming the LNG backbone of PNG

-This would allow xom to be included if it were a minority owner and someone else was the operator.

-This would please PNG govt and solve the monopoly problem PNG wants to avoid.

- IMO, it would also speed development of nat gas resources in PNG, and raise GDP and employment there.

-  If anything,  this makes the most sense to me and if anything is going on on the drawing board, this makes the most sense.

- Would form a very competitive PNG to asian markets, and a very financially solid company.

-Create a nice run in our stock and put the whole project on very solid footing.

-Think about this.....

-Be careful, someone for some reason, is accumulating ioc.

Trans - Your "two cents"  is/are (?) certainly worth some strong consideration. [ Could be (COULD BE ) a solution to make everyone happy !!! ]  Big MAYBE ??  Let me scratch my head for a while on that possibility ! Good fortune to you, sir.

The WSJ article posted earlier stated this : with quotes from Taureka. "When you add it all up, a lot of people are quite envious, particularly in Elk-Antelope alone. That is probably the largest discovery in Southeast Asia for the last 20 years,” said Mr. Taureka.

article is about selling the company or part there to , the Elk Antelope alone comment should catch your eye . Quote Taureka.

Or Trans comments above are spot on.

There are rumors going around. But with ioc that's always been the norm.

if anything at all were to happen at this point in time it would be a buyout. Any sell down would be silly to complete so close to resource reassessment. If they were selling down it would be only after they have a more exact resource size. The point of a buyout now for an acquirer would be to gain the upside
