Wahoo
#1

What we do know:

VERY High pressure

Good seal

Hydrocarbons are present

So while we wait, how many of you think there is more than a 50% chance that there is a comercial resource @ Wahoo?

Now, If there is, what does that mean for IOC?

What does that say about all the structures to the northwest between E/A and Wahoo?

Hi Spartina - Good am to you. Some time ago,I believe Pet mentioned that he thought that Wahoo had a 80 to 90% chance of becoming a success....or very close to that. IOC spoke about 50% higher pressures than Ant's 3600 psi . (check) . Great seal ...(check) . Hydrocarbons present...(check) . If Wahoo is  a commercial find, and we have any sizable reef, then ppl 474 will becomb a "golden" gold lease. How about "them apples" ! Best to you.

Thanks Sag - I think most of us forget what this could mean for IOC. We should know pretty soon...

Hessian AGM comments , script on these pages . Loosely he stated Wahoo by itself location wise . The Total deal took 4 months to cut , he wanted to cut a deal with Exxon to develop Wahoo might take 6 months to cut that deal . Must be on the same terms as Total or better or no deal . Worth a look on the transcripts .

Has that been stated here before? If so, must have missed it.

I think so ...

Most interesting is Oil Search's drilling schedule no wells at P'nyang until 2016 . This gives Interoil and Hession plenty of time to get a hopeful discovery at Wahoo and to cut a deal .

Will it happen ???

JFT -

Whoever said "Wahoo is by itself" was talking off the top of his head. We've all seen plenty of prospects around Wahoo. Yes, Wahoo is a major step out but until that area is drilled no one can say Wahoo is by itself. Geologics suggest it has a far better chance at being one of many similar structures.
