"cold sweat"
#1

Hi gang - I don't know if it was something I ate last night that didn't agree with me or something else, but I was dreaming that Total and Exxon were two big cats that were watching us "like a bird of prey". (...that is when my "cold sweats " occurred). This am I decided to go to Interoil's website to ease my 'sweats' and clicked on "company"..Then I clicked on "corporate responsibility" ....came up "sorry,no information available (error) " or words to that effect.

My apologies for being an"old depression child" ,but when our monthly "outflow cash "is approx. 8.3 million and our "in flow" cash is zero, something doesn't seem to add up. Yes,I realize they state that we have 1100 employees and that they are negotiating on TBR, but with Ant 6 being 'carried', it is, in my humble opinion, pretty costly 'jawboning'.

I also realize if we run out of cash, (before some big cat jumps), that we have that 300 million credit line. [ Borrowing and paying interest on borrowed funds would seem to be hurtful to our cause].

Sorry if my concerns irritate some, but some soothing positive thoughts would probably alliviate them. Any concrete positive thoughts appreciated. <img src=" border="0" class="smilie" src="http://shareholdersunite.com/mybb/images/smilies/heart.gif" />

Are we allowed to discuss negative implications on IOC here?

Aside from that, I'm sure you will get positive replies from the resident SHU cheerleaders to alleviate your concerns and cold sweats.

Thanks K-sents - Soothing thoughts would be okay if they are based on reality, not "pie in the sky" cheerleading.  Negative comments should be okay if they are based on factual observations that lead to positive corrected measures. Hope that explains my thinking a little better.  sageo

Do you not think we will ever get a payment for our assets sold to Total?? Or will we not get paid in time???
Using your numbers of outflow of $8.3 million a month if it took a year 12 months from here to receive the payment that would be $100 million and based on what we know today we have at least the $300 million possible loan dollars available . More exact numbers coming before they end of March on our current cash on hand .
What size do you think the gas in place ongoing tests now will reveal ?? Those tests are run by independent contractors . Is 10 T's not a reasonable estimate ???
What number do you think GCA and NSAI will reveal in July 2016 ?? Isn't 10 T's not a reasonable number ??
Was Oil Search lying when they said in the next 2-4 weeks we will have a much better handle on quantity??Based on the current testing .
What did Oil Search mean this was the year the synergies between PNGLNG and Papua will be realized this year ???
Did Hession state the high estimate will become the mid estimate based on drilling results . ???
What did you mean when you said you had heard size estimates from your board friends that were so large they were afraid to post the numbers ????
Based on your numbers it should be impossible for Interoil to burn through all its cash and available loan dollars before receiving the Total cash . The loan available dollars allow us at least 3 years carry from here using your numbers .
So are your numbers of cash burn per month wrong???
Were you friends wrong when they shared their large estimates of the size of our assets???
It appears to me the wait for the Total dollars will measure in the 3 year range . Or I understand any frustration that may manifest itself from time to time . When I have such a moment I call it later as a Senior moment . You might relate it appears .

Jft - Do I think we will ever get a payment from Total ...yes. On time ...no. Original time was end of 2015 ...(. unless my 'senior moment' was working overtime) ...smile. Some of your other questions were difficult to process since you mentioned some things I didn't even bring up in my post. Let's just say we see things a little differently, but both of us are hoping for some great results. Have a pleasant evening.

1) You are allowed to discuss anything relating to IOC positive or negative, however

2) If, like this post, doesn't add anything as you not address the topic of the thread, nor provide any other info or opinion, substantiated or not, but chose to instead resort to derogatory comments on others.

3) I'm having to do this in public because in previous occasions when I just removed such messages you claimed not to have been derogatory and/or provide useful info..

Sageo-Some say patience is a vertue I think we can agree our patience is being tested .
I go back to Total saying appraisal will be finalized this year . The only way this is finalized is with a payment in some form . Final means complete. My friends have verified this is Total's intent to complete the payment this year . This is Total speaking and it's their money they are spending. Total isn't the size they are without being credible .
No it's not an option play .

To my "humble" opinion IOC's Ca$h outflow is more likely significantly higher than $10 Million per month in order to pay their share of costs for "Early Works" that will be undertaken in 2016.

I believe that IOC must increase the $300 Million Line of Credit NOOS (up to $400 million at Libor +6%) or get off the pot and sell down one or more of the other assets for pennies on the dollar ( T, B, R, W ) with future payments pegged to certification. OR ... sell gas to PNG LNG for their expansion.

I agree with Sageo that cold sweats are in order until Dr Hession wakes up from his persistent somnambulation and acts on behalf of shareholders instead of for his own benefit.
