I voted NO.  The rational investor side of me said to vote YES, but the "not gonna let them get away with this" side of me said to vote NO on principle.

It's been a great but expensive education that still is not over.  Good luck to all.

God Bless,

Wahoo does have gas, we did drill in the wrong spot, we drilled without managing the well pressure, we had a blow out, we reallised we had stuffed the well, and we plugged and abandoned because of the sheer embarrasment factor. MH and his team seemed to have all the answers and refused the advice from people with experience there. Wahoo went the way of Ant 4, with cost blowouts etc...

Thg - When the final story is written about PNG's oil and gas discoveries, there will be a chapter on "the Exxon coup".....how"by hook and/or crook", Exxon was able to acquire muliples of tcfes for a pittance . Rex T still suffers from "a burr under his saddle blanket" when he was chastised by some of the "brillant" analyst for overpaying for XTO a few years ago. In a way,I guess he figures this coup will make up for that.

Good luck to you and yours .

Sageo, I was an IOC insider for 15 years. I was there at all the well sites and all the big discoveries. I intend to write this book. Anyone want to contribute?

And good luck to all.

Thg - Thank you for sharing that information with our board members.and me. I hope my heirs will be able to obtain a copy somehow .

In Feb. or March of 2010,my son gave me (as a belated Christmas gift), a 26 inch high bronze oil derrick painted with liquid gold on a mahogany base with an engraved metal plaque. It states the info on the Antelope #2 well....dated Dec.1st,2009 ; world's largest nat gas well @ 705 mmcfpd .

Needless to say, it isn't our most prized family holding, but for a number of years it ranked pretty far up there<img src=" border="0" class="smilie" src="http://shareholdersunite.com/mybb/images/smilies/wink.gif" />

[ Now it sortta' looks like a fallen angel ....<img src=" border="0" class="smilie" src="http://shareholdersunite.com/mybb/images/smilies/undecided.gif" />  ]    I guess I will keep it around for a while to remind me of "what might have been" if we would have had been lucky enough to have hired a competent and honest ceo & bods.

Even tho' you are fairly new to our board, your input has certainly been appreciated.

How about this scenario? Enough people on the margin vote "Against" in order to secure their interest in the potential of YBCA Section 193. The 66.7% necessary for the sale is not met.

Thg might have to delay publication a while but it doesn't sound like he'd mind.

My best, and good luck, to all. Vote "Against". Yes, it may be a long shot, but it is still a real shot.
Fair Market Value for our assets can't have a cap of wells nor can FMV exclude certain assets as the Exxon agreement does . There is no appeal of the Yukon Supreme Court .
____________________________________________________________________

"The Court of Appeal of Yukon hears appeals of decisions made by the Territorial Court and the Supreme Court of Yukon in civil and criminal matters. Appeals from the Court of Appeal go to the Supreme Court of Canada. (www.scc-csc.gc.ca)

The Court of Appeal is made up of justices of the British Columbia Court of Appeal and justices from the Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

The Court of Appeal sits in Whitehorse for one week, twice a year. Many of the cases are heard when the Court sits in Vancouver. There are registries in both Whitehorse and Vancouver.

New Court of Appeal Civil Rules and Forms came into effect on April 29, 2005 "

So there are two levels of appeal - the Court of Appeal and then the Supreme Court of Canada.  Fairly easy to ascertain.

One needs a basis to appeal . Just because you don't like the Supreme courts Fair Market Value will not cut it
Having a cap is not fair market value .
Zero value for assets below E/A is not fair market value .
Zero value for assets outside E/A is not fair market value
. Having a CEO incentived to collect $50 million for selling a company at any price will show the lunacy of the Hession deal .
The courts if necessary the courts , would clearly see the the holes in the Exxon contract . They are so obvious.
Giving up after years of waiting makes no sense . We thus voted no dissenting .
While we wait Exxon will drill 5 wells a year . Proving out our FMV.
Adding a 3rd train with our gas only increases our FMV.
Time is an asset not a liability .
The number of shares dissenting will not be 51 million .
It will be cheaper to pay a higher price to those dissenting then all the legal costs . Exxon pays the dissenters legal costs and theirs . Not a lot of incentive to delay or appeal . Exxon is smart will save money and make the dissenters go away. Then develop the assets .

JFT, thanks for all your input into this. You have been an encouragement to me and to many others.

Good luck on the book.  I would bet that SHU would be good source for material.
