Although no actual deep sea mining is occurring anywhere* this article speculates about the extinction of this very lovely and unique animal.   So when Nautilus is ready to test the machinery, expect there to be years of preexisting articles speculating about how it will be a disaster.  

*  Maybe off Namibia depending on what you call deep sea mining.
