It certainly is strange, I can't really understand it either. Seems like there isn't a desire to push it well over 17 before new info hitting the market. Obviously it doesn't take a lot of volume to push the price one way or an other, but I also am perplexed by it.

Today's battle is whether can close above last week 17.02. If it is above 17.02, then it is three straight up weeks.

SP still hold above 17.00 after a big sell off at last minutes. Not bad for long NQ.

That is true, still holding firm, it was better than yesterday. Once we are thru this period of "consolidation/window dressing/squaing off positions/profit taking by a few etc...), we can go higher.
