Here's a Youtube link for a video featuring the Galaxy S5 Sport. The narrator mentions NQ Mobile a couple of times as the company that's powering the underlying software.

The current pps sure appears to be disconnected from what's happening on the ground with NQ. I'm guessing PWC USA said it wasn't signing off until all the internal control issues were buttoned down rather than doing so in anticipation of it taking place. Pure speculation on my part.
