Who needs OSH? - Kaliboo - 07-22-2016 With the IOC deal on much more certain ground with a likely XOM buyout, the stage lights may be moving in another direction. Will TOT buy OSH? Tit for tat as part of the back room deal with XOM? Who needs OSH? They've already proven to be annoying and disruptive with lawsuits. Maybe some calls on OSH shares may be in order? This would be a good way for TOT to not "lose face" and level t he playing field with XOM. RE: Who needs OSH? - Palm - 07-22-2016 I'd guess that OSH stays independent. They are the gov darling and they have the loacal ties needed to make things happen. They are anything but a weak link. RE: Who needs OSH? - petrengr1 - 07-22-2016

RE: Who needs OSH? - ArtM72 - 07-22-2016 Has anybody yet seen anything about the behavior of Total (or Exxon for that matter) that is anything less than ethical or failing to proceed per the letter of their contracts, unless done at the request of partners for consideration? As noted above, this is the second time Botten has screwed us up and cost us time and lots of money (Now HE thinks he's going to get $60 million. He might have to wait a while. Might never get it at all after 1 year). Hession kept pushin to get A7 approved. That cost us time. Bad drilling cost us time. None of the project delays can be charged to TOT. So far as we know the cost of A7 would be carried by Total as an alternative to drilling AS1. That's just another material business deal that we might not have heard about. But again, not any indication of misbehavior on TOT part. Total seems a good partner. That's good. |
