I'd guess that OSH stays independent. They are the gov darling and they have the loacal ties needed to make things happen. They are anything but a weak link.

Has anybody yet seen anything about the behavior of Total (or Exxon for that matter) that is anything less than ethical or failing to proceed per the letter of their contracts, unless done at the request of partners for consideration?
As noted above, this is the second time Botten has screwed us up and cost us time and lots of money (Now HE thinks he's going to get $60 million. He might have to wait a while. Might never get it at all after 1 year). Hession kept pushin to get A7 approved. That cost us time. Bad drilling cost us time. None of the project delays can be charged to TOT. So far as we know the cost of A7 would be carried by Total as an alternative to drilling AS1. That's just another material business deal that we might not have heard about. But again, not any indication of misbehavior on TOT part.
Total seems a good partner. That's good.
