Holdings update

It's the great blight of today's investment world. These hedge funds are able to do things that the rest cannot. What a dilemma. Hedge funds are allowed to operate behind a veil and of course they take great advantage of it. The meltdown and still since is fraught with stories of hedge funds spreading false rumors about companies, calling analysts who follow a company with false claims, and people make knee-jerk decisions to avoid being last one out. On the other side analysts and funds are in constant contact with management to try and get info not generally out in the markets, etc. It's today's investment world where retail investors get left holding the bag most of the time while markets rocket then plunge.

In the end the company needs to get it right, but even if they do for the most part they may not realize potential with the leverage hedge funds will use to achieve their purpose. The markets DO NOT always get it right. Not these days. Will IOC eventually beat these hedge funds? I think so but like always as an investor you must trim and add strategically until the day they are bought out or get to production if you want to maximize profits. Lots of ways to profit handsomely with IOC. I like the long way best.

What would you do if some monkey hedge is calling your company a fraud....?

Btw that piece of crap has been floating around since at least last thursday, I saw it the day after the negative articles came out on SA and PNGIndustrynews last wednesday and assumed it was all part of an attempted short attack 9/10 days before OE day which often happens. Just assumed it didn't do the rounds because it was so ridiculous even by short's standards.

To me it shows how desperate are the shorts. Look at the total short count by date and compare to IOC's stock price.Persons even at these prices are losing a lot of money if short. And they have been shorting more. Gotta love it.

The market won't be a reliable measure of value so long as it remains a place to make money from failure. As you say Palm, just the way it is.
