jft, I don't think there is any appropriate place on this board for personal politics, and would request that you keep yours off of it, and would request that admin request that of everyone.  However, since you decided to make your bid, I think Romney is the biggest liar and panderer to be nominated for President in my lifetime and very bad for this country as a whole.  The only reasons I can think of to vote for him are self-interest, ignorance, or racism.  That will be my one and only statement on the subject, which I would not have made at all without your crap.  If anyone else besides me feels offended (because of me), I apologize.

Getitrt2, I was surprised to see JFT's comments here since this is not a place that has been a forum for political support of one character or another. I try to keep my political views out of here and express them in other venues. However, you should consider your own ability to be balanced as you requested of JFT. If it was wrong for him what made it right for you? I disagree with you posting your own slanted comments while bashing someone else for doing the same but agree with your sentiment about political opinions on this board.

Ebster, I'm glad you agree with keeping politics off this board.  However, I did not request that JFT be "balanced", and I was not trying to be "balanced".  I'm about as "balanced" about that subject as I am about IOC.  I won't initiate the subject here, but I reserve my right to respond.
