LNG 17 and Shell and EWC
#4

'admin' pid='21181' datel Wrote:Yes, well, we'll have to see about that. Interesting though is that the EWC solution, at least as I understood it, largely depended on parts off the shell, uuh shelve and there was always a little nagging voice saying that if EWC could do it and it's such a good idea, then why don't others do it (in fact, there are a few others, but it hasn't created an avalanche by any means yet). If Shell now seems interested. It would be nice to hae Glen here as well, by the way..

Rest assured, Shell is interested in mid scale LNG.   Mid scale + hull = FLNG.

RDS defines mid scale LNG as 2Mtpa to 5Mtpa trains and have designed four distinct processes to cover the range.

This Mr.Gaeta sounds like a chip off the old EWC block, or more likely, EWC is copying mid scale LNG/power schemes of the Majors.

JP Meti blessed EWC scheme/technology as financable for JP LNG trading houses, utilities and investors.
