Shouldn't be a huge surprise. Shell had people at EWC's small and mid-scale LNG conference in Louisiana when the modules that are now in Indon were on display. The bigs may have at times scoffed at EWC, but they all knew it was the way of the future because of the fact that smaller fields are where the game is and the scaling makes sense. They just couldn't let EWC be the one to bring it in big-time. Just like there was no way IOC would beat XOM to production. It's not the way the game is played.
