Common sense says as each box is checked off the monetization list the price to buy IOC rises as uncertainty is reduced . The uncertainty causes the volatility as it is reduced the volatility is reduced . Simple way to look at is a seismic picture more valuable than a drilled well ?? What is IOC gonna do for the next ten years says Laurie Brown poke holes in the ground drill and monetize . Each appraised new well adds some type value . So IOC is cheaper before the drilling than after . Keep it simple .
