He once did the swan dive off the top of a drilling rig into a barrel of water. Stay thirsty my friends.

4) Hession wanted to be seen as a bad ass in black with shades, not in the pink shirt from the last two photo shoots.

He wears black at the rig site so that the crude oil spray doesn't show so bad on his clothes.

Here is another picture of Hession meeting with the rig crew at Wahoo-1.

Interesting... I surmise also it is  a picture of folks at Wahoo.

So, what's in a picture?

1) Wearing black?  In PNG, boy it is sunny, hot, and humid.  Do not recall pictures of CEO's in black at well sites before. What is that symbol on the shirt?

2) The person on MH right side may be a contracted service engineer, Helmet does not have IOC logo, that front pocket is sure full. Read a portion?

3a) What are these three staring at?  Facial expressions or recognitions mode of paused comtemplative amazement. (?)

3b) Triangulate the reflections in the sunglasses. (?) The brightness clearly exceeds the background sunlight which is near nearly overhead due to shadow angle. Sorry, do not have the digital software to re-focus the curved spectrum of the image.

3c) Did the photographer anticipate a candid excited reaction?

3d) What is the distance?  Are these folks standing back at bit?

4d) What are they standing next to?

Like those shades

Those were the good old days when one could spray oil all over the place and no one cared.
Now one drops a bubblegum wrapper and gets an instant fine. Sad
