Is it wrong that I am following this election closer than I followed the Canadian election last year? Perhaps that is one of the top 10 signs that I have an IOC problem.

Top 10 signs you have an IOC problem:
1 - You know the names of the PNG MP's running for reelection, but don't know the name of your own constituent.
2 - When going on vacation you spend more $$$ to get internet access than you spend on hotel rooms, just so you can check the IOC stock price.
3 - You are going to name your first born son Phil.
4 - When meeting someone for the first time, you discover their name is Eric, and you need to be restrained.
5 - Your birthday present to your significant other is the Nontechnical Guide to Petroleum Geology, Exploration, Drilling, and Production.
6 - You fly 3000+ miles and take 2 days off work so you can drink VO's and speak IOC for 18 consecutive hours at the Spinnaker Lounge.
7 - You refuse to refuel your car at Shell stations.
8 - You listen to IOC CC calls to help you fall asleep.
9 - You call Wayne more often than your parents.
10 - You have contacted IOC to set up wedding plans at Ant #1, so they can flare the well after it is pronounced "You are now man and wife".
11 - Your kids hero's aren't sports athletes, musicians or movie stars, but a man named PetEngineer

Hmmm, 8 out of 11, not bad......no way I have a problem.

40whatever - You get frustrated that you can not find any PNG athletes on the Olympic website to cheer for. I know there were some that marched in with the opening ceremony.  I am thinking the Javelin would be a natural fit, but I can't find any PNG athletes under Track and Field.

There are 3 in the blowgun competition and 5 or 6 in the large-pot soup cooking competition. The cooks are are shoe-in to win gold. The judges don't want to risk their manhood by giving them anything les than gold silver and bronze. Clean sweep and no protests expected.

Actually Orlandough$, That's 'Daisy'.  #11.   True that Daisy is a wightlifter in the London Games.  She is entered in the Men's Heavy-weight division.  The Chinese/SK/andJP protested vehemently and Phil thought is would be best at this time of sensitive negotiations to throw them a 'bone'.  Her speciality is "Snatch & Jerk".  That gal sure has a grip.  Her career as a 'Long Pig Soup' ingredient procurerement specialist has mader her what she is today - a beast!  Never beleive anything you read on the Web!
