Barrons tonight....As a result, Oil Search expects its next debt to fall by $300 million after this deal.

Investors seem to like this deal alright. Oil Search rose 2.8% this morning. Brent crude futures rose 0.5% this morning after falling 0.2% overnight.

OSH would lowers its debt because it would haves MORE than enought gas to cover TOT and XOM obligations and desires.  The deal concept isn't bad, just the value offered (so long as MH is gone, without bonus, because deal made would have IOC valued at less than it was when he was hired.

How much will OSH get from TOT for the 60% of IOC which it intends to sell back to the French? That would seem to be a pretty important number.

OSL would than book the assets based on standard defiintions of FID.  OSL would have "reserves" based for three LNG trains.

What is not being disussed is the condensate.  OSL desperatly needs to increase its RRR (reserve replacement ratio) forward.  So, is it the same deal with XOM?   Total gets the gas, OSL gets 10K-30K per day production of condensates?

Ezxon recently complete a 10K production of condensates on the North Slope of Alaska.  If 10K of condensate is good for XOM, how great would 30K plus be for OSL in the aquistion of IOC.
