It seems so interesting that the two websites continue to talk about Nautilus minerals as a continuing present tense. The shares currently held are kind of sitting in a no man's land of dead stock that could possibly come to life.

Wow, those that are still long good luck.

Maybe $100 oil (7 year high) will give MB & Metallo the funds they need to finally jump start seabed mining. Are they just going to let the machines rust and leases expire after burning through hundreds of millions of dollars over the past two decades??

Question to anyone who might have experience with this. On the OTC Expert Market / nusmf page (link below) it has a revolving biweekly "short interest" of 84,582 shares. Does anyone know what this means? Thank you in advance!

Think I found the answer (below). Still have absolutely no idea why someone would short nusmf now. Can you make $ shorting a stock at .001? Why has it been the same number of shares every two weeks? What's the point of doing this? Who the f knows!!

Short-Interest Reporting (Rule FINRA 4560)  FINRA members must report their short interest positions in OTC equity securities at mid-month and end of the month. See complete text of Rule 4560.

Plain speak: FINRA publishes the short interest list seven days after the 15th and last day of each month. This information is available for every OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink security on www.otcmarkets.com.

Thank you Long Nautilus.  I too have been giving great thought recently to EXACTLY what is going on.  A bankrupted, defunct, dissolved entity should have no real interest in it at all.  What are these shorts about?  Who shorts companies no longer around (theoretically)?  What is the nature of the activity around this company?  I am always hoping there is some advanced financial positioning going on in some very long played game.  I for one, as I have stated before have already lost my money.  I am very patient ( from experience with crypto/digital assets) when it comes to investments.  Have strong positions in some assets for years now.  If they are waiting for some us to dump...it won't happen.  So, if they read this whomever they are, they might as well just move forward with the plan because they will not be getting all the shares.  At least not from me.  Another year and another crazy ride with Nautilus Minerals.  Take care and all the best to you.

I like the attitude!! Same amount shorted on 3/15/22. 50,200 shared traded this week that we know of (trades don't have to be published now apparently). Add it to the mountain of bizarre sh*t.  I'm down BIG but will never dump my shares on principle alone. Screw the write off.

Same here, these bastards will never get my shares. And I'm down a whole lot of money too. A whole lot!

Ultimately I don't think there is much these folks can do until the ISA finalizes the commercial exploitation permits mining code. Its been delayed for years which is causing a delay in the entire industry. A country has invoked a rule that requires them to complete the code within 2 years but folks are skeptical they will be able to get it done my then. TMC's recent partnership has them targeting Q3 of 2023 to begin commercial exploitation mining so maybe something will happen by then. They've already tested their equipment so until they can commercially operate it seems to just be a waiting game.

I'm hopeful the owners will recapitalize nautilus minerals when they are able to commercially operate and shareholders will finally get some of their money back. It would be a real shame if the owners strung all the shareholders along for years to just close the business before starting their new operation.

Great points HLV. The International Seabed Authority just wrapped up their first meeting of the year last week and will meet in early August so we'll see if they can finally pass the mining framework after 20 years! The island nation of Nauru triggered the 2 year rule last July. Seems like things are getting close.

Nautilus has the mining tools, the recovery system, the quantified tenements, the licenses, the patents and the built-out ship (hidden somewhere I'm convinced). Let's hope us individual shareholders are kept involved - if there is any justice in the world!
