Small amount of gas . Date to start is 2019 before Papua if built would be up and running .

The point JFT is that TOTAL is committed to sell over 20 million tons per year from their global portfolio of LNG in the early 2020's
They currently control a bit over 10 million tons per year; so they will need production from Papua LNG (or HINT another project)

I think he is suggesting that they need the plant to meet the stated goal, therefore, they will bid on ioc. My interpretation at least.

It would be nice to see a sovereign wealth fund with personal interests and a dire need for LNG to come into the mix. Pie in the sky dream BUT twice the current offer may knock out the SM's, still be cheaper for them by removing the middle man (SM), the SM of choice would still be operator and my suspicion is that shareholders would jump at it. Time will tell...
