It’s not only much cleaner, but also way cheaper than oil. The discount must be close to an all-time high. It’s quite likely to (partly) replace coal as well, due to environmental concerns. Gas is responsible for just 3% of energy consumption, compared to something like 25% in many advanced economies. Ample room for growth.
