Yes, we realize Krugman is an acquired taste, but we have “acquired” that taste since the 1980s, when he was an excellent economist, and during the 1990s, when he was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best popularizer, being able to explain complex things in simple terms, and still remain an excellent economist.
We understand Republicans don’t have any love for him, but we just look at the economics (as in the links) and feel that the aftermath of the crisis has proven him right.
